Frequently Asked Questions

WHAT DO WE BUILD?

We build tiny structures on wheels in a variety of lengths and widths. These structures can be used for many different purposes including full time residences, vacation homes, guest suites, hunting cabins, businesses, offices and more.

HOW LONG DO YOUR BUILDS TAKE TO COMPLETE?

This depends on the build and our current schedule. Contact us to find out when the next building slot is available. Typically it is best to begin the ordering process 6 months before you'd like your build to be complete. If you're looking to get your tiny home faster, choosing one of our pre-designed  plans is a  good option.

HOW MUCH DO YOUR TINY HOMES COST?

The cost of our tiny homes are usually $50,000 - $120,000 depending on size and features.

DO YOU OFFER FINANCING?

We do not offer financing ourselves. You can go to a company that specifically handles tiny home loans, or check with your bank or credit union to see what options are available to you. Most  banks and credit unions can offer a home equity loan or  rv/mobile home financing for tiny homes.

DO YOU DELIVER?

Yes, we can coordinate delivery of your tiny home for you or you can pick it up yourself from our facility.

WHERE CAN I PLACE MY TINY HOME?

The answer to this question is highly variable. Check with your local county and township to find out more. Tiny homes are not usually specifically addressed in codes and ordinances. This means you'll have to explain  what a tiny home is, how it works and what your home looks like.
Most often the options are...

  • Placing the tiny home on your own property.

  • Placing the tiny time home on a property with another home. The tiny home would then be considered an ADU (accessory dwelling unit).

  • Buying or renting a lot in an rv park, tiny home village or from a private landowner.

WHAT KIND OF UTILITY HOOK UPS WILL MY TINY HOUSE REQUIRE?

Full power, water and sewer hook-ups are not necessary. If they're available, you can hook your house up to them. We find that a lot of other tiny homes are built to require full hook-ups. In our experience this greatly limits where the home can be placed. This is why we like to customize the hook ups for our clients and their individual situation.  Most often this means that the home is built to require only a 30 amp power source.  An interior water tank is installed (eliminating the need to be directly connected to a water source). The  furnace, water heater and burners/range run off of lp and a composting toilet is utilized (eliminating the need for a black tank or sewer hookup. If desired we can also add a solar power and battery system to your home so that no electrical hook up is needed.
